Trauma can affect the mind and body in ways that are not always visible to others. Experiences such as abuse, neglect, difficult relationships, medical trauma, childhood adversity, violence, loss, chronic stress, or overwhelming life events can leave lasting emotional and physical effects long after the experience has ended.
Individuals living with trauma or PTSD may experience anxiety, emotional numbness, hypervigilance, panic, intrusive memories, nightmares, difficulty trusting others, relationship challenges, or a persistent sense of feeling unsafe. Complex trauma may also impact self-worth, emotional regulation, and the ability to feel connected or secure.
At Core Psyche Collective, I specialize in trauma-informed psychotherapy and EMDR therapy to support clients in processing painful experiences in a safe, collaborative, and supportive environment. My approach recognizes that healing from trauma is deeply personal and should honor each individual’s pace, readiness, and lived experience.
As an EMDR Certified Therapist and EMDR Consultant in Training, I integrate evidence-based trauma treatment with compassionate care to help clients better understand their nervous system responses, reduce emotional distress, and move toward healing and greater emotional stability.
Healing from trauma is not about “getting over it.” It is about creating safety, rebuilding connection with yourself, and learning that your experiences do not have to define your future.
